In 2021 Polish IoT & AI SINOTAIC Cluster inaugurates the operation of the first National IoT Innovation Showroom in Katowice, which is being created with the support of the City of Katowice, appreciating the importance of cooperation between the local government and the technology leaders of tomorrow, hence the strengthening of relations with the Cluster as part of the project.

For several years, the city has been developing smart city solutions, such as the Katowice Intelligent Monitoring and Analysis System, the AWAIR air quality information system, tracking lighting in parks, and sharing solutions in transport services. I am glad that the result of the national pre-selection gives the project of establishing the European Digital Innovation Hub in our city a chance of ultimate success at the European level. The showroom is one of the proposals that will allow for an attractive presentation of the latest offers of technology companies, often addressed to local governments. Such an initiative puts Katowice in the first row of cities open to cooperation with business as part of the ongoing digital revolution" - underlines Marcin Krupa, Mayor of Katowice.
IoT Innovation Showroom, a unique project in Poland, was initiated by the Polish IoT & AI Cluster SINOTAIC and is the first cyber-physical space in which Polish solutions in the field of IoT are presented, with particular emphasis on technologies for Smart City. A cluster initiative of a nationwide network IoT Innovation Showroom under the honorary patronage of the Secretary of State for Digitization of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Janusz Cieszyński.
In this unique cyber-physical space, you can learn about the most modern Polish technological solutions of the SINOTAIC Cluster partners. The showroom physically operates as a network Living Labs located in the Municipal Business Incubator Rawa.Ink, which was connected to the Foundation's 3D Printing technology showroom Future Industry Platform in Radom, In Science and Technology Park in Opole, In Gorzów Technology Center Park Naukowo-Przemysłowy Sp. z o. o and in Pomeranian Science and Technology Park Gdynia. The network includes educational showrooms in Kamienna Góra and Jelenia Góra, created in cooperation with SINOTAIC and Kamienna Góra Special Economic Zone for Small Business and mid-level technical schools.
Technology recipients, entrepreneurs and representatives of the public sector can familiarize themselves with the rich offer of various types of technological solutions both by visiting the IoT Innovation Showroom in person, as well as remotely, using the digital platform. www.showroomiot.pl .
This is an excellent opportunity not only for the IoT sector in Poland to present its solutions, but also for local governments and the SME sector to learn about technological innovations and offered solutions that they can use now. The aim of the National IoT Innovation Showroom is also to integrate technology companies and enable testing of proposed solutions and specialized training.
