COMMUNICATION FROM THE NATIONWIDE SURVEY
DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY PROVIDERS FOR INDUSTRY 4.0

I am pleased to announce that the Jagiellonian University and the Institute of Geography and Spatial Management have published the report "Digital Entrepreneurs in Industry 4.0". This announcement comes from a nationwide survey of digital technology providers for Industry 4.0. We are proud of the participation of Agnieszka Łasut and Marek Ostafil in this project, who, together with other experts from Future Industry Platform, IRMiR Urban Policy Observatory and #Sinotaic enriched this report with valuable comments. The report focuses on the characteristics of Polish companies operating as technology providers for Industry 4.0. We will find out where they are concentrated, what solutions they specialize in, and what is crucial for their operation and competitiveness in their current locations. An interesting aspect is also the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their activities. The report, which was created on the basis of a survey in which as many as 150 "digital enterprises" took part.
