Presentation of WMT WC

Katowice February 20, 2020.

Cluster members met in large numbers at the presentation of the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. The host of the meeting was prof. Anna Timofiejczuk.

As part of the agenda, during the meeting of the representatives of the University of Technology faculties, they presented developed solutions with commercialization potential. Completed projects in the area of ​​Industry 4.0 and automotive were presented. Talks about the possibility of cooperation in the development and commercialization of common solutions were initiated with representatives of the cluster's business entities.

The head of the Entrepreneurship Incubator of the PŚ, Magdalena Letun-Łątka discussed the issues of cooperation with external entities in the context of patent restrictions and regulations in this respect from the point of view of patent law and the policy of the PŚ.

The participants also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the offer of research laboratories and laboratories at the disposal of the Silesian University of Technology in the field of cybersecurity and industrial automation.
